Dawn Robinson
Dr. Dawn Robinson is licensed professional counselor with a doctorate of philosophy in counselor education from Georgia State university. Dawn provides treatment that empower adults, children, and adolescents to reach their fullest potential. She believes that a holistic approach is essential in working through life‘s challenges and focus on the whole person. Dr Robinson will work collaboratively with you to address personal, environmental, and systemic factors that impact day to day life.
Dawn specializes in working with adults, children (ages 3 and up), and adolescents who have experienced work/school related stress, trauma (abuse and/or other traumatic experiences), grief and loss (death, divorce, etc.), individuals struggling with anxiety and/or depression; and individuals who have experienced distress as a result of racial microaggressions/discrimination.
Dawn integrates counseling theories to work interactively with adults, children, and adolescents. Specifically, with children and adolescents, I utilize play techniques such as artwork, sand trays, and therapeutic games. Together we will work and use an eclectic approach that is holistically focused on you or your child‘s well–being.
A large part of her practice is working young adults and professionals. Helping them navigate through life’s tough choices, daily stressors, and relationship issues. Her therapy style is very interactive and provides you with the freedom to grow and heal at your own speed. Dawn will work with you to put you in a position to succeed in your profession, daily endeavors, and relationships.
