Samantha Platta
Samantha Platta is a licensed clinical social worker with a Masters degree in social work from Marywood University. Samantha is a recent transplant to Georgia from Pennsylvania. Samantha’s practice focuses on individual adults and adolescents She is an active listener and seeks to provide an unbiased perspective in a confidential and safe environment. Samantha utilizes a variety of therapeutic orientations in order to meet the unique needs of each client, including relational, psycho-dynamic, cognitive behavioral, person centered, and solution focused.
Samantha has 10+ years of experience treating families, couples and individuals who experience anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship struggles and/or mental health diagnoses. She also has significant work experience with adolescents, teens and young adultswho experience various behavioral concerns, that may be a result of bullying, failing grades, parental or peer stressors, poor self image, anger or drug use.
Samantha combines her education, experiences and passion to provide her clients with a unique therapy journey.She will work closely with you to build on your strengths while paying attention to areas of your life that need healing or growth. Samantha looks forward to the opportunity to start this journey with you.
