Nadirah Brown

Nadirah Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).  She graduated from North Carolina Central University with a degree in Psychology and received her Masters degree in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health counseling from Troy University. Nadirah has 10 years of experience in sexual assault advocacy, Cognitive Development, Crisis Counseling, family therapy, adolescent therapy, trauma and substance use.

Nadirah believes the therapeutic relationship is especially important and uses person-centered approach to get to know her clients more and to build rapport. She also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength focused and Solution Focused Therapy. Nadirah’s goal is to walk beside her clients in their journey of self-development. She knows the journey isnt easy but with the management of stress and positive approaches,  together you can get through this. Nadirah believes everyone’s story is just like a fingerprint, she approaches each individual with a pair of fresh eyes and a clear mind. Regardless of gender, sexual orientation, religion or race, Nadirah is here to guide you through the process  of healing.
